Improve your Structural Assessment Skills

Structural problems in cattle have a substantial effect on both the
reproductive and growth performance of a beef herd. Lowline
breeders have a responsibility to ensure that the cattle they
produce are structurally sound. Well known cattle woman and
Angus breeder, Fiona Glover will give an electronic presentation of
what she looks for in an animal, starting from the ground up.
Fiona’s talk will be followed up by an on-farm visit to assess
individual animals’ structure and develop participants assessment
skills. This field day will be invaluable to all cattle breeders
wanting to improve their herd
